  • Our webbing slings are made from high quality synthetic fibres, up to 4 layers of polyester and strengthened mesh. 
  • All web slings are made in accordance with SR EN 1492-1 and are colour coded.
  • Working temperature is between –40°C and +100°C.
  • The standard Safety factor is 7:1, however on request, it can be provided with safety factor 5:1 or 6:1.
  • PRO-W webbing sling are TÜV certified and marked in accordance with 2006/42/EC Directive
  • DS0201 - 1 Meter

1. What is the working load limit of a 2 ton web sling?


A 2 ton web sling has a safe working load limit (WLL) of 2,000 kg when used in a straight lift. The capacity may vary depending on the lifting configuration.


2. What are web slings made from?
They are manufactured from high-strength polyester webbing, offering durability, flexibility, and reduced risk of damage to loads compared to chain or wire slings.

3. Can 2 ton web slings be used for lifting all types of loads?
They are suitable for most general lifting applications but should not be used for loads with sharp edges unless edge protectors are applied.

4. Are 2 ton web slings certified?
Yes, all Prolift web slings are supplied with certification and comply with EN 1492-1 standards for lifting safety.

5. How do I choose the right length of web sling?
The length depends on the load size, lifting method (straight, choke, or basket hitch), and the working environment. Always select a sling that provides safe clearance.
